Ahmedabad Food Walk
Rs3000 onwards
A culinary adventure where every step tantalizes your taste buds with the rich aroma of Gujarati street food.
Discover hidden treats like a local
Walk through buzzing heritage lanes of Ahmedabad where the aroma leads you before the sight does. Taste a mix of street legends, from royal kulfis to humble khakhras. Experience the local dishes to appreciate the region’s history, culture, and communities.

Butter Dosa & Cholocate Sandwich
As the sun dips, Manek Chowk transforms into a glittering open-air kitchen. Start with a sizzling Butter Dosa, its crisp golden edges giving way to a soft, spiced potato filling—served with tangy chutney and coconut-laced sambhar. Savor the quirky Chocolate Sandwich—warm, gooey chocolate layered with bread, butter, and sprinkled nuts—a sweet surprise in the middle of a bustling bazaar.
Sev Khamani
A true Gujarati snack classic—crumbled khaman (steamed gram flour cake) spiced with mustard seeds, topped generously with sev, pomegranate, coriander, and a dash of lemon. Light, tangy, and fluffy, it’s the perfect mid-walk refresher before the fried indulgences ahead.
Masala Khakhra
Crisp, thin roasted wheat crisps—infused with spices—served hot off the tawa. Pair with homemade chutneys for an addictive crunch. It is also a great spot for edible souvenirs to take home—methi, jeera, and even pizza-flavoured khakhras!
Kulfi
This is heritage on a stick. Rich, slow-cooked milk infused with saffron and pistachios, frozen to perfection. The kulfi here has been winning hearts for decades—dense, creamy, and fragrant, it’s the ideal palate cooler before diving back into savouries.
Ghee Jalebi
End your walk like a local—spirals of deep-fried dough dunked in saffron sugar syrup, dripping with nostalgia. Served with a cup of masala chai in this 120-year-old eatery where even Sardar Patel and Mahatma Gandhi once dined.

Enjoyable and informative walk! We thoroughly enjoyed our guided walk through Panjim. Our guide Shangon was excellent. She was entertaining, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We’d all been to Goa a number of times before but felt we’d learned so much more in those couple of hours. The snacks were great too! Based on the tour, we’re going to add a couple of days in Panjim to our trip to Goa next year.
